Brooklyn artist IL Lee creates his work with a ballpoint pen! I am really attracted to the patterns in his work, the fine lines and positive/negative space. I think some of them would make great textile designs! I first noticed IL Lee on Art Projects International New York City (see link) but have to give props to the incredible Anthology Magazine (which everyone should check out, I keep meaning to officially get a subscription!) because I just noticed a post on him on their blog as well.
